This 12 inches high, brass and rich gold clock, is bright and shining. The brass was polished, The top and base have been regilted or plated, and the movement is very clean and running. Imitation mercury pendulum, hands, 2 piece porcelain dial with open escapement, all clean and original. Some faint hairlines around the winding arbors that you have to strain to see. Three perfect beveled glasses, front and sides. The back glass is plain and I believe the door and glass are not original to this clock. Would pass if it had a piece of beveled glass in the door. 8 day movement, striking half hours and hours on the standing gong, and it is running strong. Ly-Ansonia #355.
