Royal Bonn porcelain tops and bases were used on all 8 of the series and many different colors and decorations on the eight models. This 18.25 inches high case is pearl to light gray, gold high-lights strengthened. No breaks, chips, or cracks anywhere on the case. The polished brass ornaments around the 4 beveled glasses have not been cleaned or polished in some timed. All glasses are good, 2 jar imitation mercury pendulum is correct, as is the 8 day movement with open escapement. Strikes half hours and hours on a standing gong. 2 piece porcelain dial is also near perfect, hands are correct. Ly-Ansonia, page 135.
