E. N. Welch Clock Co. parlor clock, "Parlor No. 3", ca 1900.

Welch made a series of clocks with extra heavy applied carvings top to bottom, and with ripple around the door and basket weave around the base. This case like most all the clocks in this collection has been refinished inside and out, brass cleaned, wood immaculate, original dial is still good, and glass is outstanding. The light wood on the sides is a photography illusion, the case is all dark. There is no label; if there ever was one I am not sure. 8 day movement, strikes a cathedral bell, and is running properly.
