Ansonia Clock Co. mirrorside, "Triumph", ca 1880. Silver cupids with the silver front glass. Cupids are replacements; glass has lost some paint in the middle, the reason being Bubba has the glass in backwards and every time you touch the glass you rub off paint. The rest of the bad is that the two top finials were missing. I am including two that will be suitable after you stain them. 8 day movement, half hour gong strike, original dial, good 24.5 inch walnut case with the carved head piece, turned finials, and other nice wood work. Plate glass mirrors and bronze ornaments are correct. The bronze has never been polished. Ly-Ansonia #1722.
