It is obvious the two green jars don't go with this clock, but are there for effect. The clock is one day with a calendar, and running beautifully. Originally made with a nickel finish, still pretty good but some under-coat showing in a few places. You can tell someone tried to polish the metal, but if you know what cleaner to use you can make it look much better. Pretty nice old dial, probably paper, signed by Ansonia. The knobs on the back and the hands, all appear to be original. If it had the original ink jars I would think this piece would bring 550 dollars or more. Ly-Ansonia #783.
