16 inch mahogany case, 12 inch dial, 8 day pendulum movement. Like the previous gallery this one is a little strange also, probably has been residing in Europe somewhere for a long time. The large painted inner dial has the Ansonia name and logo at the top, and at the bottom is painted, "Gani & Sons, Madras". Just below the wind arbor someone painted in red, "Wed", surely to remind the hired help to wind the clock on Wednesday. Like all in this collection it is running very good. Brass bezel and glass over the painted dial. Dial is beginning to flake slightly in places. Trap door on the bottom to access the pendulum. Ly-Ansonia #689.
