C.1880, E. Howard Clock Co., Boston, "Regulator No. 11", 8-day weight timepiece, sometimes called a "keyhole" model.

23 October 2024
Condition: typical with many Howards, the weight has been through the bottom. They would usually run without service until the cable broke. The maid must have dusted this clock every week, since the original finish is both intact and shiny. The original dial has bad the numerals and signature strengthened, and is still wonderful. Normal paint chips around the screw holes. Howard movement is properly signed. Large iron weight has a curved bottom and the #7, which we have sometimes seen in this model. Tablet is original and superb, with black reinforced in one spot. Original pendulum, tie down and label intact. Rear hanger is loose. Please refer to Oct 2004 sale, lot 385, same model sold for 10,250 plus premium. Height 32 inches
