Wall Clock 17 1/2" Diameter Gallery Clock by Sessions, Foyer Model Pristine Condition
Antique wall clock made by Sessions Clock Co. Forestville Connecticut, the "Foyer" model, 17 1/2" diameter solid oak gallery clock near mint, 8-day timepiece. Circa 1920. Size is 17 1/2" diameter x 4" deep 11" dial diameter. Condition is near mint, 100% original. The signed movement has been professionally rebuilt. Cleaned, oiled, pivots resurfaced and polished, new bronze bushings, the verge has been stoned and polished and main spring replaced. The clock is a week duration with a strong pendulum amplitude. It is an excellent time keeper. The original paper dial is in very good condition. The solid oak case was cleaned and waxed. Very strong original finish. Excellent paper label on the backboard. These clocks were produced for commercial and industrial application and not for home use. For this reason, not many were made as opposed to the standard household regulator clocks.
