It is doubtful that the case has ever been cleaned. Walnut case is 25 inches high, tip on top broken and glued back, looks fine. Old brown dials, hands, pendulum, both movements, look to be original to the clock. Full label on the back, only slightly faded. This is an 8 day clock, striking hours on a cathedral gong. It is running and the calendar is changing properly. Ly- Calendar No. 346.
