Ansonia Clock Co. Royal Bonn case, "La Vendee", ca 1904.
We have had this model in many colors, but this may be our first "baby blue" case. A lot of white, gold accent on the high edges, and the pretty yellow and purple flowers on the front and sides. Case is 14.5 inches high, 13 inches wide. Very good two piece porcelain dial, Arabic ring is white, inner dial with open escapement is cream. The case has no cracks or breaks but does have one small chip on the bottom of one foot. You can't see it of course unless you turn the clock upside down. Metal back cover is not an Ansonia cover, but it serves the purpose. Original Ansonia pendulum bob. The 8 day movement has been serviced, it is running, and striking a gong on half hours properly. Ly-Ansonia, page 638. Valued at $1200 in 2004 catalog. We will deduct for the one tiny chip on the foot.
