Pomeroy made movements for Jerome and others. It is believed that Jerome marketed some of Pomeroys complete clocks, such as this one. This particular clock was bought from Pomeroy by A. D. Smith, Cincinnati, Ohio, who operated as "Smith's Clock Warehouse". This case has a green overpaste label over the green Pomeroy label. Rosewood case has the original finish with some minimal wear. One rosette missing. The dial, hands, both glasses, all original. Flaking on the bottom glass, mostly in the fruit, all the same color so would be easy to reback. Movement is 8 day, coil gong strike, an excellent runner.
