Condition: this clock has had a hard life, now with 3rd movement. First was original, then someone put in a spring drive school clock movement, leaving several holes and associated imprints, finally it now has a No. 5 banjo movement, and a weight from a No. 7. the center hole for attaching is worn considerably and now with a metal washer; approx 20 holes in backboard to explain or you could replace the backboard. Has good Howard hands. Xlnt Howard dial is second on case. Finish on case is intact and good; split in lower door. This clock was sold by an auctioneer in the Boston area a few years ago as "Right out of the House", which is possible, but should have said "out of the Marriage House" Would be $9,500 if correct.
