Condition: bottom finial is original; center 4 on door are OK; outer 4 finials are turned new and stained black; top trim is recently cut on jig saw. In the Kroeber 1899 catalog, these imported clocks are clearly touted as "Genuine Vienna Regulators, F. Kroeber, Sole Agent" The movement is prominently marked F. KROEBER, N.Y., and with serial number 88222 (actually made by Gebr. Resch in Austria). Mounting bracket and pendulum carry same number, and are original to the case. Note brass weight shell is filled with sand. Height 45 inches
