Condition: Refinished walnut case is in very fine condition. Outer 5 finials are newly turned; rest original. The top 2 finials are turned with the cup in the wrong direction; supposed to be cupped down..however fotos are shown in Tran Duy Lys book titled WELCH CLOCKS, (1992) page 98-99, and you can re-turn them properly. Movement, dial and pendulum are original and fine (only some very minor flaking on the dial, and couple of small dents in pendulum). Hands appear to be old and have been on the clock a long time; you could possibly find a pierced pair on a small school clock. We sold the cousin to this clock in October 2005 lot 411 for $8960. Has original brass sheathed weights. Door lock missing. Height 52 inches
