Condition: As on many Welch cabinets, the bezels are grained poplar rather than rosewood, and these bezels have been nicely re-grained and finished, probably by Mrs.Kaltaler of New York (she even re-grained the example at the American Clock and Watch Museum). The label, tablet, dial and hands are original, the dial with some water stains; label missing a piece, lower right. Overall a good example. For reference, see Tran Ly's book titled Calendar Clocks, pages 48 - 56 (the best discussion on this model available) Height 30 inches [76.5cm]
