Condition: Well, the case is really quite nice, with original finish, original tablets (with flaking), and good scrolls (finials are later and improper). Dial is new, made to fit the situation; hands modern. Seems to run and strike OK, but this is for sure, enjoy as either a decorator item, or a good case for your early Ives movement. See Ken Roberts book on Ives, page 49 for a view of the movement that belongs in this case, or see Ly's American Clocks, Part III, pages 116-17 Replacement Terry style finials are available. Height 54 inches [135cm]
