C.1875, Welch, Spring and Co., Bristol, Conn, 2-Wt Lewis Calendar, similar to the No. 2 model, but with 10 inch calendar dial, 3 ft case length and uncommon 2-wt Welch design movement, rosewood veneer. Condition: this clock has been professionally restored, movement cleaned and strung, and the case nicely refinished.. There is a generally good label in the case back with losses but still fully legible. The label on the Lewis calendar cover is excellent. The top 12" dial is original and excellent with only a couple of chips; lower calendar dial is paper, replaced at some time and aged a bit yellow. With 2 iron weights, one with some lead added to top, clock movement runs robustly, and trips the calendar reliably. Height 36 inches
