Condition: Walnut case in good condition with original finish. Original paper dial is pretty good for its age with some scratches and wear. Top trim on the dial plate is missing. Old single barrel pendulum is not correct; old hands from another clock. Movement is signed Ansonia. Davies was a brilliant designer and promoter and around 1885 became the General Manager of the Ansonia Brooklyn Plant. This clock has a C. 1875, Davies label. Movement recently cleaned to high standard and running well. Ht. 15.25"
