30-hour time, strike and alarm, weight-driven, wooden works. Painted wooden dial decorated with gilt feather and vintage central garter and scrollwork spandrels. Mahogany case with half columns in upper section and plinths in lower with paw feet and cove molding top. Double door, with dial door above expertly repainted polychrome tablet with two Greek revival houses in park-like setting, bronzed geometric surround. Cleaned original finish and paper label with instruction label for alarm pasted over other. 33.25" high x 20.25" wide x 6" deep.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.As above, alarm missing, else VG+.
