Condition: The rosewood case has been refinished, the dial has its original paint, is properly signed, and has some minor stains and dirt. The case is in generally excellent condition with the exception of a minor crack in the veneer in the door near the door knob (not generally noticeable) and a very small piece of veneer missing on the very top back. The label is complete and has a small period advertising (for inks) pasted that obscures a part of the information. Both glasses are original and held in with their original wood strips. The lower tablet depicts Buckingham Palace and is complete except for a small chip of paint missing from the building. The hands are original and the door knob is an appropriate replacement.
