most of the gilding on the case has been rubbed of with normal handling. Original jeweled lever platform is intact. The movement is "triple" signed, first by the maker, who was "TEC" beside the serial number, then by Ch. Hour beneath the hand set stem, and finally near the top of the plate, J. E. Caldwell, Philadelphia. The original porcelain dials are perfect and hands original. Clock has not been serviced in a while, but is striking hours and quarters and balance staff is good. Height 6.75 inches
