rosewood veneered case in very nice clean condition in an old and possibly original finish with a couple of veneer chips on the front base. Original painted dial with some loss at the winding holes and mounting pins. Hands are replaced. Clean label inside case. Tablet with some minor loss is original. As a point of interest the house depicted in the tablet [residence of Ithial Town, Esq] was a former landmark in New Haven, but was razed in 1957. Ht 26"
