Austrian, Adolf Koll, Wien, Biedermeier era "Vienna Regulator", full quarter striking grand sonnerie, weight driven, with springs for the striking trains, 2-day. The case with rosewood veneer on outer surfaces, front of back is grained, slide mount movement on seatboard. there was at one time a little carving between the arches on the top, and now only a vacant hole. Otherwise this clock is in excellent original condition, with nice early dial showing slender numerals and cast bezel, and with very fine and delicate hands. Early style bob and beat scale, plus 5 point star pulley. Crisp and clean. Ht 41"
