Riley Whiting, Winchester Painted Tall Case Clock Riley Whiting, Winchester, Conn. wood works tallcase clock. The case is grain painted to look like crotch grain red mahogany. The graining is in quite good condition with just the normal scuffing on the edges.The hood is missing the tips of some of the trim on the sides and the waist door lock is missing. The dial is dirty and would look much better if it were carefully cleaned. It is signed and has colorful red and green flowers in the center and corners. At the top is a gilt eagle with a banner and shield. It has the original hands, pendulum and weights. This is a 30 hour wood works movement with bell strike. Several of the gear teeth are chipped. 7' 1" tall.
