Waterbury Clock Co. "Calendar No. 34", ca 1893.

Rosewood case is about 30" high, has been rubbed/polished, to enhance the original finish. It now has a light sheen like nice expensive furniture. Good labels on the back, Waterbury was never stingy with their labels. Everything is original, the movements, dials, hands, door latches, brass rings, original signed Waterbury winding key, and both dials are signed. There has been a little paint touch up on the upper dial, and the calendar paper rollers are printed in Spanish, which was not unusual for a great many companies made clocks for export to Spanish speaking countries. This is a rare calendar model, one we seldom have for sale. LyCalendar, page 305; Ly-Waterbury, page 103.
