Waterbury Clock Co. "Regulator No. 7", a clock made a few years ago, and one we sold to a good customer in 2008 and it has been under his bed all this time because he did not have a place to hang it.

I know that problem, but I do love big clocks. The oak case is identical to the originals that are pictured in Ly-Waterbury No. 534. We have sold a half dozen in the last few years and the new owners have sent us pictures of their clocks after they stained them a darker color. All were very nice, and one told us when he finished with it, it looked 100 years old. The case is 85" high, 26" wide at the top. The door has two hook latches, and there is glass in the sides. It has an 8 day pinwheel movement that is running briskly and keeps very accurate time. The pinwheel movement is in a metal box with side doors, and rests on a metal bracket, all like the original pinwheels. The movement is quality and our knowledgeable buyers tell is it is identical to the 100 year old pinwheel movements. The porcelain dial is 12", it has a great lyre pendulum, brass weight, and all are perfect. We know for a fact that these identical clocks have been sold at some auctions in the US for $5000 and more. Originals will sell from $10,000 to $15,000. Ly-Waterbury No. 534.
