Only one scroll tip was broken and professionally repaired. You cannot tell from the front. I needed a good light to see the repair. The veneer is excellent, has a key lock and key and ivory escutcheon. The brass finials are replacements, the solid brass type that screw into the top. Both glasses are held with new putty. I feel sure the top glass is new, but the bottom is original, just rebacked. The movement is complete, running and striking the iron bell. The wood dial is almost perfect and there is a lot of provenance on the back side. Included are two old iron weights, brass bob, and winding crank.
