The three brass finials may be the only change made to the case or integral parts. The very nice wood dial is signed, "S. Hoadley / Plymouth". The 91" high pine case has the original paint and is in good original condition. The full columns on the bonnet, fretwork on top, and the mid section quarter columns, all have the original gold paint. There are metal capitals and bases on the quarter columns, key door lock with key, and a very nice painted dial and three period hands. The wood movement was restored years ago and put in running condition but has not been activated since.
