It is a wood movement with pull up weights, and is complete and operational. It has an original pendulum rod, bob, and tin can weights. The dial is original, colorful, and signed as stated above. Cole's cases were unusual in that they were grain painted, or gold leaf stenciled, or both. This case has a stenciled scroll top and feet, the base is signed, "R. Cole / Painter". This case was professionally restored with grain painting on all surfaces, combined with gold leafed accents and decorations in the center of the door and base. The clock is 7" tall.
