The company made, or still makes, electric motors. This movement and pendulum look like those you see in many electric clocks. This is a regular clock, not an electric clock. The oak case is 47" high, very clean, and all original. Brass beat scale, three tube brass pendulum, two door latches, plaque on the base of the case says, "Manufactured by / Hansen Mfg. Co. / Princeton, Indiana". The dial is 13" square, machine etched designs all over, painted numerals, dial ring swirled in such a way it appears to be recessed, but it is not. Brass 8 day movement is time only, and running. A nice timepiece.
