It was about the year 1880 that Russell and Jones purchased the inventory of the Terry Co. This model, the Highland, is pictured in both company's catalogs. The good walnut case is 23" high, complete, and has been cleaned and polished. There is no label, the glass is possibly original, the dial paper is new, the pendulum is period, same with the hands, and gong. We have had this model several times and there is usually some slight difference in the case construction. LyAmerican Clocks, page 196; Ehrhardt-Clock Identification and Price Guide, page 86.
