The 26" mahogany veneered case is the same case Gilbert used for his 30 hour weight OG's. The veneer is smoky dark, has not been cleaned. It has the original weight roller caps on top, two old glasses with black and gold paint, and the correct door latch. Inside on the lower half of the backboard is a black label, complete but the gold has faded some. Original dial paint is still intact with a little fading, has good hands, original gong, very nice Gilbert pendulum, and the original 8 day brass movement. It still has the Geneva stops on the movement. The identical case in the weight model is pictured in Ly-Gilbert No. 1056.
