refinished broken arch case with fan accent on door [now gilded], and the plinth has had a crack filled in and been restained, French style feet are original. The brass dial is in excellent condition with original hands, the broken arch hood HAS three finely spun brass finials (not pictured) for the three fluted chimneys. One of the weights has its outer cover fractured. Henry Rentzheimer is listed in Spittler and Bailey's "American Clockmakers and Watchmakers" as living in Allentown Pennsylvania before 1812. Height 93 inches
