basically this model later became the Ansonia No. 1 Extra, Crystal Palace. This one retains its original Davies dial (his name imprinted at lower edge) and was merchandised by Davies before he sold out to Ansonia (about half his label remains on rear). The paper dial is stained and someone applied little decals in an effort to improve it, long ago and even the decals are worn. The reclining cherub pendulum is a later addition. Chris Bailey and I looked this clock over in detail and feel certain it would have had a barrel style pendulum. On walnut base with dome; height, to top of dome, is 19.5".
