A similar example can be found on page 184 in "Horology Americana" by Dworesky and Dickstein. mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some small veneer loss on the base. There is a small veneer repair on the left front side at the bottom. The right rear finial has a small piece of the tip missing. The center strip veneer on the door has lifted a little at each end. We believe the tablet is a repaint on old glass. Original painted wood dial has a little wear to the chapter ring and some loss at the mounting pins. There is a very clean label inside case.
