Both heavy cases retain their original black paint, with gold flourishes still showing. The Kroeber dial is newly papered, and this model is not shown in Ly with the bust of Beethoven, but the bottom label confirms the identification, ht 15". This exact Ansonia model also is not in Ly, but the movement is signed. Its brass ornaments and dial are clean and bright, ht 10 1/2" Both movements tick and strike okay.
