Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., "Regulator No. 20", 8 day, time and strike, spring wall clock, c1906
Anonymous (not verified)
24 October 2024
Oak case in nice condition in original finish. Original painted dial with some inpainting, wear and dings to the raised edge of the dial pan and damage at the door bezel hinge. Brass bezel is a little bent at the hinge and there are poor solder repairs to the tabs that hold the glass. Hands, although painted look to be original. The catalog describes this model as having an 8 day double wind weight movement, but the dial pan holes match those on the case and the dial was made to fit this movement. Maybe someone wanted a time and strike movement put in this case or this was the end of the run on this model and there were no weight movements and substitute was made. Ht 38".
