Henry Capt, Geneve, French carriage clock, in a gilt brass engraved Gorge case, spring powered eight day time, strike and alarm movement, with silvered lever platform escapement, striking the hours and half hours on a gong, repeating at will, engraved gilt brass dial mat, white enamel dials, Roman numeral time signed Henry Capt, Geneve, and Arabic alarm, blued steel hands, with leather covered travelling case, c1880 Case retains original gilding with wear, gilding worn off of handle, original movement running, striking, and repeating correctly, the balance with good amplitude, alarm working, dial mat with excellent gilding, dials excellent, correct hands, travel case with substantial wear and some loss to leather, handle missing, original protective cover for travel case glass replaced, with key.
