Silas Hoadley, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike, OG shelf clock, wooden works, c1835. Mahogany and what looks to be Ash veneer case in very nice condition with a couple small veneer repairs on the flat band. Original painted dial is a dark area from the center extending down to the bottom with a poor repair to the number five and six. Dial has original stamped grommets. Minute hand is a replacement. Wm B Fenn tablet is original. Note orig grommets in dial are stamped "S. Hoadley". Ht 26.25"
