It was invented by Samuel F. Estell. A very unusual clock, c1874. Stripped walnut case in very nice condition with some slight damage on the door. Original painted dial with some very minor loss. Hands look to be original. Bottom tablet is original. Loss of the gilding on the molding on the bottom door. Ht 20.25"
