Terry, Terryville, Conn., long drop regulator wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in a mahogany case with painted metal dial and reverse painted lower tablet, c1855 the clock retains its original finish nicely rubbed down. The original dial retains its original paint with some flaking. The reverse painted tablet done in blue and gold is original. The label and paper beat scale in excellent condition. The upper glass has a 4" crack near top. The clock has its original weight and gold leafed pendulum stick. We sold a similar example in our October 1, 2001 sale for $2100 plus 10% buyer's premium.
