the grain painting is original. The dial is original and needs cleaning and the pewter hands are original. The top crest, fretwork, capitals and dust cover are replacements and the lower dial frame is absent on hood. There is a crack on the right hand side of the hood door that has been poorly repaired. The glasses have been replaced. The latch on trunk door has been moved up 3" leaving the original location hole exposed. There are an age splits on both sides of plinth and hood. The left riser needs to be secured. The tin can weights and pendulum are period. Masonic dial has been shellacked and now yellowed, but could be cleaned by a professional like Kathy Edwards. Ht 86 3/4"
