Heman Clark, Plymouth, Conn., 8 day, time and strike, four column two door empire shelf clock. c1823 Refinished mahogany veneered case in pretty good condition with veneer repairs on the base, a piece missing the right side base, veneer repair on the lower door hinge and at the key escutcheon. There is some damage to the area around the upper door top hinge. The wood weight guides inside the case appear to have mouse damage. Original iron dial has numerous small flaked areas. Bottom tablet is a replacement. Hour and minute hands are original, but the minute hand has been repaired. The seconds hand is a replacement. Original pulleys. Ht 26.25"
