E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 70 Regulator" with 20" dial, wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in a walnut case with painted wooden dial and reverse painted lower tablet for "BASS RIVER LODGE 141", c1890 the case is in excellent original condition with original finish and bold graining in the walnut with some white wall paint along the bottom rear edge. There is a 3/4" x 1/8" piece of rear right side molding absent. The dial is in very good condition with very minor scratches. The weight baffle has been replaced and no longer has a pendulum tie down. The original Bass River Ridge Lodge tablet is in excellent condition and also included is a separate reproduction standard Howard style tablet, professionally done in the red, gold and black. Of Note: the Masonic Bass River Lodge is located at 242 Old Bass River Rd, South Dennis, Mass [on Cape Cod], These larger Howard models are increasingly difficult to find. Ht 50"
