Marshall and Adams, Seneca Falls, New York, 30 hour wood movement carved columns double decker case with cornice top, c1835. This clock is a marriage. The case now contains what looks to be a Riley Whiting wood movement in place of an eight day weight driven brass movement. Refinished mahogany veneered case with a small piece of veneer missing on the door and small repairs on the doors and the front edge of the cornice top. Original painted dial has been plugged for the wooden movement. Hands are not original. Bottom glass is not original. Dark but readable label inside the case. Ht 36 1/2"
