the heavy brass case, with hinged bezel, has been nicely polished and lacquered, but the original silvered dial, showing the Chicago store name, is somewhat tarnished. Movement with number 137411 strikes and ticks briefly, but needs service. The wood base is stamped 137338, close enough number to perhaps indicate original association with this movement. Ht 7.5"
