Terry, Terryville, Conn., long drop regulator wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in a mahogany case with painted metal dial and reverse painted lower tablet, c1855 the clock retains its original finish nicely rubbed down. The original dial retains its original paint with some flaking, especially between 1 & 2. The reverse painted tablet done in blue and gold is old and with plenty of age, however we have only seen this in black/gold until now, so it may not be original. The label and paper beat scale are in excellent condition. The upper glass has a 4" crack near top. The clock has its original weight and gold leafed pendulum stick. We sold a similar example in our October 1, 2001 sale for $2100 plus 10% buyer's premium. Ht 32 1/2"
