the heavy metal case retains it original worn surfaces. The silvered dials are good with just a single tarnish spot on the clock face, and the glasses are fine. The barometer and curved glass thermometer appear to be reading correctly. The jeweled movement ticks and strikes okay, but was not tested further. Engraved on the front lower panel is "Presented to F. Albert Hayes by N.E.P.A.A. November 4, 1946". Ht 8.5"
