Stripped and decayed finish on a rosewood veneered case with a couple of chips on the hinge side, damage at the slant bottom and small piece piece missing the left side. The gilt tablet looks to be original with the black background restored. The minute hand looks to be original. The hour hand a poor replacement. There is no dial or weights. There is a pendulum bob, gilt pendulum rod, pulleys and pendulum suspension. Ht 35"
