Noah Pomeroy (attributed to), Bristol, Conn., 8 days, fusee, time only, rosewood veneered case, c1865. This clock was pictured in "A Survey History of the American Spring Driven Clock 1840-1860", a supplement to the NAWCC Bulletin, No. 9, Winter 1973,

Rosewood veneered case in original finish and very nice condition. Small chip under upper door frame. Original tablet with some loss. Original painted dial with some loss at the mounting screws and the winding arbor. Hands are period but may not be original. Interesting card label from a Marion. MA jeweler tacked inside. This case (with brass top bezel and wood bottom one) was patented by Noah L. Brewster. The movement was made by Noah Pomeroy (according to one with a tag dated 1890 - when Pomeroy was still alive). Ht 17.75".
